This unit standard will form the cornerstone of future scientific analysis ability for learners.

A learner credited with this unit standard will be able to:
  • Analyse a problem.
  • Solve a problem.
  • Implement a solution.

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
  • Mathematics at NQF Level 4.
  • Communication at NQF Level 4.

  • UNIT STANDARD RANGE
When reference is made to statistical concepts in this unit standard it must include, but is not limited to: proportion, percentage, mean, median, mode, percentiles, range, variance and standard deviation.
