PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
State the implication and application of sections 10,13,19 and 20 and the regulations regarding environmental regulations for work places, facilities, general administration and major hazard installations of the Occupational health and safety act as it applies to workers in the air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation industries.

The assessor must have knowledge and experience of air-conditioning or refrigeration.
