The scope of this unit standard entails applying routine maintenance to equipment such as spotlights, railway switches, cookers, peanut shellers, sample dividers, sampling platforms, sand bags, two level funnels, grain dumpers, spouts, augers, conveyor belts, driers, elevators, fumigation equipment, graders (mechanical), sample mills (grain), hoists, hot air blowers, lawn mowers, locomotives, pneumatic probes, laboratory screeners, sewing machines, spiral probes, spraying equipments, stacking machines, swing fogs, tractors and vacuum cleaners.
The specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard are performed without direct supervision, but with access to work site procedures and operating instructions. |
