    Describe different administrative procedures. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    An explanation is given of policies and procedures in terms of their purpose and provisions and the associated documentation that must be completed. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Policies includes but is not limited to annual leave and sick leave.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    An explanation is given of the procedures involved in drawing up a signal. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    A description is given of the procedures for updating and maintaining the outgoing and incoming signal book with reference to measures in maintaining signal security. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    An explanation is given of administrative procedures associated with the maintenance and completion of the logbooks, registers and records. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Logbooks and registers includes but is not limited to the occurrence book, main keyboard register, small arms register, private firearms register, master key and handheld radio register, damage control exercise occurrence book, transport register, night rounds book, signal originator's reference log, operational defence log, loan account book and incoming and outgoing signal register.

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    An explanation is given of procedures for accessing the standing orders. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Standing orders refer to ships standing orders, unit standing orders, standard operating procedures and standard working procedures.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    A description is given of how standing orders are read and interpreted in order to ensure compliance. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    A description is given of duty personnel pack with reference to information type and associated unit orders applicable to the execution of Officer of the Day duties. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Duty personnel refers but is not limited to officer-of-the-day, officer-on-duty, warrant officer-on-duty and non-commissioned officer-on-duty.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    A description is given of procedures outlined in the disciplinary code with reference to practical application.
