    The 3-kV DC rectifiers and associated equipment in traction sub-stations is prepared in accordance with the OHSA, Electrical Safety Instructions (ESI) and Engineering Instructions (EI), and as per job card standards, worksite procedures and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

    Cleaning materials and solvents are obtained and prepared for use as per manufacturer specifications, work site procedure, safety standards, hazardous chemicals procedures and material safety handling procedure data sheets.

    The 3-kV DC rectifiers and associated equipment in traction sub-stations history and operational/maintenance records are scrutinised indicating service needs noted for attention during the routine servicing as per maintenance procedure.

    Ensure that all environmental aspects are taken into consideration as per environmental impact studies/management.
