PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
In the W&R industry much stock is received from suppliers in large cartons/packs. These "bulk" packs are put into the storeroom and are "broken" into smaller packs to be inter-branched to stores from the Distribution Centre. This unit standard is intended for those individuals who are responsible for breaking the bulk pack and storing and labelling the smaller packs or single units and packing them for dispatch. Qualifying learners will be capable of: |
