PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is intended for individuals dealing with the provision of advice and the selling and promotion of skin care products/product ranges through customer interaction in a retail environment.
Individuals credited with this unit standard will be able to demonstrate knowledge applicable to skin care in order to add value to customer service through the identification of most appropriate products, the correct communication of product features, benefits, use and application according to client/customer needs, based on the analysis of the individuals skin type, condition and skin care routines. Product knowledge gained will enable effective problem solving, trouble-shooting and the addressing of customer needs in accordance with the standard operational procedures and specifications of the product manufacturer and the organisation.
