PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable the learner to deal Poker proficiently, demonstrating an understanding of the game. The individual must be able to use all relevant technology and perform all tasks of the dealing cycle in a quick and efficient manner, enhancing customer satisfaction.

On achievement of this unit standard the learner will understand and be able to:
  • Handle chips and cards correctly.
  • Adhere to poker dealing procedures.
  • Assist customers with playing Poker.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Poker.
