PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is aimed at individuals involved in the enforcing of legal compliance in conservation and other environments with an application of appropriate legislation. This competence will contribute to the sustainability of natural resources and therefore benefit a range of critical activities in the Conservation sub-field.

A clear distinction is made between actions that constitute compliance and acts of non-compliance, on the basis of relevant conservation laws, ordinances and regulations. |

Compliance with rules governing the issuing of permits is correctly interpreted by applying relevant conservation legislation in the workplace. |
