PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The purpose of the learning is to categorise intellectual property information according to a specified classification/categorisation system. Credited learners can describe available categories, assess intellectual property information in terms of identified categories, and allocate the information to specific categories in order to re-distribute the information.
Information management competence is generic across all fields of learning, and learners can apply the competence achieved for this unit standard in many contexts.
