PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners who are assessed as competent against this unit standard will be able to understand the use, care and provide basic maintenance of specialised tools in the manufacturing and installation of aluminium products.
This will ensure that breakages and stoppages are kept to a minimum and equipment is used in accordance with safe work practices. This competence will advance the learner's own expertise and employability in both the construction sector and other related jobs. |
