PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for a person who operates bulk lubrication oil systems on fossil power plants. A person credited with this unit standard is able to prepare the plant for service and monitor startup conditions, startup of plant, monitor and sustain plant and/or equipment operability, stabilise transient conditions, shutdown plant, isolate shutdown plant and maintain regulatory requirements. |
