PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A learner credited with this unit standard will be able to perform fault-finding and repairs up to modular level on a remote control system by applying signalling engineering practice. This will restore the functionality of the remote control system, which will contribute in part to a reliable railway signalling system, safe and efficient train operations and effective rail transportation. |
