PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this unit standard is able to interpret and prepare for a promotional plan/strategy, and to create a promotional display using products, material and signage. They are also able to implement the promotion and monitor the stock levels of the hire products or services during the promotional plan/strategy.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Interpreting a promotional plan/strategy.
  • Setting out and displaying hire products or services.
  • Maintaining promotional activities and displays.
  • Monitoring a promotional plan/strategy. 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners accessing this qualification will have demonstrated competence in numeracy and literacy on NQF level 2 or equivalent.
