PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The learner achieving this unit standard will be able to assist with the preparation of documents, the construction and the dismantling of an exhibition for heritage communication purposes.

While it is not compulsory, it is recommended that the learner undertakes a unit standard prior to this one which will provide them with a contextual understanding of the purpose of exhibitions. The unit standard referred to is:
