A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in:
Preparing a pre and post treatment machine for production to ensure readiness for the treatment of paper rolls

To enter a learning programme for this unit standard or to be assessed against this unit standard, the learner is assumed to have:

  • UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
    The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard with minimal supervision, but with access to work-site procedures and operating instructions
    The scope of this unit standard deals with the preparation of the pre and post treatment machine after supplying raw materials and before the treatment of paper
    Material includes different grammage metalised papers, transfer tape application mixtures, and masking tape
    Equipment includes, but is not limited to, expansion shafts, special tools, hoisting equipment and pallet trucks
