PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This Unit Standard is aimed at people who would like to enter the Micro-Finance sector or who already work in the sector and who need to understand the process of improving or expanding the product range of a Micro-Finance institution. It will also be useful in acquiring the skills to do client-specific market research and product development.
It provides an introduction to analysing and interpreting the characteristics of the target market and responding to the identified needs and requirements. UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS |
1. Anyone assessing a learner against this Unit Standard must be registered as an assessor with the Bank ETQA or with a relevant ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank ETQA.
2. Moderators must be registered as assessors with the Bank ETQA or with a relevant ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank ETQA. 3. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this Unit Standard or assessing this Unit Standard must be accredited as a provider with the Bank ETQA or with a relevant ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank ETQA. 4. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures. Anyone wishing to be assessed against this Unit Standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency registered with the Bank ETQA or with a relevant ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank ETQA. |
