PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
This qualification is registered at level 1 on the National Qualifications Framework. It provides learners with the opportunity to access learning in broad technical processes and practices which include opportunities for learners to grow in the specific field.
Learners will be able to combine fundamental, core and elective unit standards in order to gain competence linked to best practice. Learners will, once qualified and assessed as competent, be able to demonstrate competence in basic handskills, removing dismantling and reconditioning elementary systems. Learners will also demonstrate an understanding of the agricultural machinery industry. |

Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to agreed ETQA procedures. Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this qualification may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA. |
