PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Learners who demonstrate competence as described in the outcomes of this unit standard will demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of quality principles used in pulp and paper products manufacturing.

The qualifying learner is able to:

  • Explain the requirements and processes used to ensure effective quality control.
  • Describe the factors that affect product quality.
